Sneak Preview
Last night I suggested to a good friend to go out for a drink to a well-known bar off Yanan Lu. He suggested we meet in a new place that is going to open soon. I agreed and set off in a taxi.
When I arrived I couldn’t believe my eyes. What a lovely place. They have made an old jewel shine again. With a restaurant, bar, lounge, a yard and a tunnel of around 30 meters extending into the mountain, the owners of this place restored one of Dalian’s old heritage houses to a new glory.
The inside is warmly and creatively decorated – partly through modern design, partly through nostalgia. They produce a variety of leather goods, and offer besides pizza and other food home-made wine.
